Board of Trustees

The board is made up of four proprietor trustees appointed by the Bishop, five parent trustees elected by parents, a staff trustee elected by staff, and the principal.

2019 Trustee Elections

Are you interested in becoming a Board of Trustees member in 2019? We have an exciting opportunity for parents passionate about helping shape the education of their children at St Joseph’s School Papanui. Elections for parent representatives looking to join a dynamic Board are being held in May 2019. Trustees need a balance of skills and experiences. This could include but is not limited to; being able to work well in a team, being able to share and listen to other ideas, having a passion for faith based education, willingness to learn about new education in the 21st century and have good communication skills. An ability to offer specific skills in finance, property, personnel, policy or strategic planning would be of great benefit to the school. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact our school principal Aaron Richards or board chairperson Wendy Skinner (  You are welcome to come along to either of the term 1 Board meetings on Tuesday 19th February or 2nd April at 5.30pm in the school board room.
